Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of LabsAI Studio at labsai.studio and app.labsai.studio — the home of LabsAI, the conversational voice of Labsintelligence, the artificial and machine intelligence lab of Labs Companies, Inc. By using the Studio you agree to these Terms. Labsintelligence operates its own site at labsintelligence.ai under its own Terms of Use; where a conflict arises, these Terms govern your use of the Studio.

What the Studio is

LabsAI Studio is where you speak with LabsAI. Today that is principally a voice experience: you talk, LabsAI listens and answers aloud, and you may interrupt at any point. You can also type instead of speaking. The Studio is offered as a research preview. Features may change, pause, or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use the Studio only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. If you use the Studio for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Your voice, and what happens to it

When you speak to LabsAI, your microphone audio is streamed and processed in real time to produce a reply. Audio is processed on our behalf by third-party model providers. We do not sell your voice, and we do not use your recordings to train a voice that imitates you. What we keep, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Please do not say anything to LabsAI you would not want processed by a machine: no passwords, payment details, government identifiers, health information, or another person's private details. Do not record or transmit a third party's voice through the Studio without their permission.

The synthetic voice

LabsAI speaks in Chemí — a set of synthesised Labs voices. Chemí is generated, not recorded: it is not a real person, and it does not imitate any identifiable individual. Chemí, its voices, and the audio the Studio produces are the property of Labs and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial listening within the Studio.

You may not extract, re-record, scrape, fine-tune on, redistribute, or build a competing voice model from Chemí audio, nor present Chemí audio as the voice of a real person or as anything other than synthetic speech.

What you say and what you get back

You keep whatever rights you already have in what you say. You grant Labs a limited licence to process it for the purpose of running the conversation, keeping the service safe, and improving the Studio, consistent with the Privacy Policy.

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may be wrong. They may be incomplete, out of date, or confidently mistaken. They are general information about Labsintelligence and the family of Labs — not professional, legal, financial, medical, or investment advice, and not an offer, commitment, or representation by Labs. Verify anything that matters. Where LabsAI reads a web page or searches at your request, that material comes from third parties and Labs does not endorse or vouch for it.

Acceptable use

Use the Studio lawfully and in good faith. In particular, do not:

• use it to impersonate any real person, living or dead, or to create audio presented as a real person's voice;
• produce content designed to deceive — fraud, scams, fabricated statements attributed to real people, or synthetic speech distributed without disclosure where disclosure would be expected;
• submit or solicit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or that promotes harm;
• attempt to extract confidential information, system instructions, model weights, or credentials, or to bypass the Studio's safety behaviour;
• automate, scrape, resell, rate-limit-evade, or reverse engineer the Studio, or use it to build a competing service;
• interfere with the service or with anyone else's use of it.

If you share audio produced here, we ask that you say plainly that it was generated by AI.

Availability and change

The Studio is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Sessions may be time-limited, rate-limited, interrupted, or ended at our discretion, and we may suspend access that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Studio.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted, and the date above will change. Continuing to use the Studio after that means you accept the update.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
